Teen Connection Night focuses on empowering youth ages 14-17 years old to use their own life experiences as a way to create change for themselves and with their peers in a safe environment.
(Coming for the SNACKS is also encouraged)
Many youth experiencing difficulties with mental health, juvenile justice, substance use, foster care, or other challenges can often feel alone and have higher risk factors. To help teens facing these challenges we cover a wide array of topics and skills to support. Each group is provided by a peer that has experienced similar challenges in their life and has lived to tell the stories and offer insider information that they wish they knew along the way.
Each Group starts with the most important topic. Food and socialization!!
After that, a new subject, activity, or skill will be discussed in each group.
